ABOUT
Hunting can be described with one word: variety. From east to west, north to south, Kansas has a rich and diverse array of habitat and game species. The hunting heritage runs deep in Kansas, and hunting is important to the quality of life and rural economies. Unique hunting opportunities wait on the eastern and western borders, and the central region provides a blend.
The physiographic regions of the state, distinguished by climatic, topographic and vegetative differences, allow such variety.
PEOPLE SAY ABOUT US
” Thank you for the friendship, generosity, and wonderful hospitality that you shared with me the past two weeks. My stay here was enjoyable and the hunting was challenging. Meeting and hunting with new friends was also rewarding. I will be looking forward to returning to this beautiful spot. There is no greater hunting challenge than the magnificent elk.”
” I had to write you a note to say how grand a time our family had on our stay and hunt with you there at Hunting Base. Everyone, without exception, was wonderful, friendly, helpful, etc. Our cabins were great. All the hunters in our group are still talking about the great experience they had. Thanks you, hugely, for a marvelous family hunting vacation.”
WHY CHOOSE OUR HUNTS
- We hunt a resident herd of elk that winter in the same area we hunt. You don't have to hope you chose the week they pass by.
- We have a large percent of mature mule deer bucks in our area due to the inaccessibility to the area.

- We never see elk on the neighbor's place that we can't hunt because we don't have the lease.
- We have gentle riding horses and mules. We don't lease our horses the week before hunting season like most outfitters.
